Close the chat to hide it and keep the conversation

::::Tabs
:::Tab{title="iOS"}
```swift
KindlyWebViewSDK.closeChat()
```

:::Tab{title="Android"}
```kotlin
KindlyWebViewSDK.close()
```

:::Tab{title="Flutter"}
```dart
await KindlyWebViewSDK.closeChat();
The chat screen is dismissed and the SDK stays started. The chat page stays loaded in the background, so [Send a Message](docId:_m000gMTZT87SAZ5w0nB6) and [Trigger Dialogue](docId\:bzasWgQ07FjNdFolleV_s) keep working while the chat is hidden, and the next display reopens the conversation at once. The chat's minimise button does the same as this call
When the system runs low on memory while the chat is hidden, the SDK releases the page and `connectionState` turns `disconnected`. The next display loads the page again with the stored conversation, and until then the calls that need a page fail as they do before the first display
To end the conversation as well, see [End Chat](docId\:uCgQWla-zeq6uPJDBKGUX). [Kill SDK](docId\:dENUQuvDOyrpbKayCfLZb) compares the three calls
