A market lets one bot serve a different look, greeting, texts and answers per location. You pick the market with the `market` slug you pass to `start`

`market` is required, and there is no default and no fallback to another market. Use a slug configured for your bot, which you find in the Kindly platform under Settings, General, Details & markets

## Selecting a market

::::Tabs
:::Tab{title="iOS"}
```swift
KindlyWebViewSDK.start(botKey: "YOUR_BOT_KEY", languageCode: "en", market: "eu")
```
:::

:::Tab{title="Android"}
```kotlin
KindlyWebViewSDK.start(application = this, botKey = "YOUR_BOT_KEY", languageCode = "en", market = "eu")
```
:::

:::Tab{title="Flutter"}
```dart
await KindlyWebViewSDK.start(botKey: 'YOUR_BOT_KEY', market: 'eu', languageCode: 'en');
```
:::

:::Tab{title="React Native"}
```typescript
await KindlyWebViewSDK.start({ botKey: 'YOUR_BOT_KEY', market: 'eu', languageCode: 'en' });
```
:::
::::

The chat loads that market's settings from `/settings/{botKey}/{market}.json`. The market does not choose the language: pass `languageCode` for that, to `start` or when you [Launch Chat](docId\:Yjruacdl_gPttkM6yK-4V)

## Switching markets

Call `start` again with the other market. The SDK closes the chat and starts over with the new market's settings, and the conversation in the old market stays stored for when you switch back, see [Initialization](docId\:MqmlgrN2Nv8ye8otUkYqC)

## A chat that never loads

When the chat shows an error about 20 seconds after it opens and `connectionState` turns `failed`, check that the market slug is one configured for the bot. If it is, the bot's settings for that market most likely lack the translations the web chat needs: contact Kindly support with the bot key and the market
