Installation

The SDK is on Maven Central as ai.kindly:sdk-webview:

A beta has a version like X.Y.Z-beta.N. Pin an exact version rather than a dynamic one, which Gradle can resolve to a beta

The SDK brings kotlinx-coroutines-core, which is part of its API, and depends on AndroidX WebKit, OkHttp and Sentry's JVM core io.sentry:sentry 8. If your app also uses Sentry 8, Gradle resolves one version for both, the newer of the two

Then run flutter pub get. A beta, for example X.Y.Z-beta.N, is a prerelease on pub.dev and pub prefers stable versions, so name the beta exactly to try it

With npm, run npm install @kindly-ai/[email protected] instead of yarn add. Autolinking does the rest. A beta, for example X.Y.Z-beta.N, is published under the npm dist-tag beta, so a plain install never picks it: install @kindly-ai/react-native-webview@beta or the exact version to try one

Nothing to add, see Android manifest and R8

Set the iOS deployment target of the Runner target to 15.4 or later. With CocoaPods, also set platform :ios, '15.4' in ios/Podfile. Then add the usage descriptions to ios/Runner/Info.plist

An app built with the Xcode 27 SDK must adopt the UIScene lifecycle, or iOS 27 stops it at launch. That is Apple's rule for every app: declare a scene configuration with FlutterSceneDelegate as its delegate class in Info.plist, as Flutter's UIScene migration guide shows. The plugin works under scenes

On Android the plugin adds the Maven repository bundled in the package and resolves ai.kindly:sdk-webview only from there. Do not declare another version of that artifact in your app. A settings.gradle that sets repositoriesMode to PREFER_SETTINGS or FAIL_ON_PROJECT_REPOS ignores or refuses the repository the plugin adds, so keep the default mode

An app built with the Xcode 27 SDK must adopt the UIScene lifecycle, or iOS 27 stops it at launch. That is Apple's rule for every app: declare a scene configuration in Info.plist and create your window in a scene delegate instead of the app delegate. The SDK works under scenes

On Android the package registers its bundled copy of ai.kindly:sdk-webview as the only source for that artifact, so do not declare another version of it in your app. If your settings.gradle sets repositoriesMode to PREFER_SETTINGS, Gradle ignores that registration: add node_modules/@kindly-ai/react-native-webview/android/maven-repo to the settings repositories instead
