Checking Support
The chat runs in the device's web view, so a device with a web view that is too old, or an app set up in a way that blocks the chat, cannot show it. The SDK then shows a notice instead of the chat and nothing crashes. Check support yourself to hide your way into the chat on such devices
Check support
chatButton.isHidden = !KindlyWebViewSDK.isSupportedisSupported is false when your app declares WKAppBoundDomains without chat.kindlycdn.com, see Installation, or when the current chat page reported, while it loaded, that the web view lacks a feature the chat needs
The chat page's own report applies to that page only. The next page checks again: after endChat, after kill, or after a start with another bot key or market
What people see
When the chat cannot run, showing it opens a notice with a close button instead of the chat, and connectionState turns unsupported, see Events. On Android the notice also has a button that opens the device's WebView in Google Play, so the user can update it
